Code of conduct
To become a PHP Rocks Validated Developer you must aggree to the following code of conduct to show people you are commited to working ethically and morally when developing software.
- You agree to work in a professional manner.
- You will not discriminate against collegues.
- You will not be involved in illegal activites.
- You will not be involved in anything that will bring PHP Rocks into disripute.
- You will admit mistakes even if this makes you look bad.
- You will work with due care and dilligence.
- Professional competences
- You will try to create maintainable code where possible.
- You will advise those who are in a customer relationship with you in a honest and clear manner.
- You will encourage the use of this code of conduct amongst other PHP Developers.
- You shall seek to improve your knowledge of PHP and keep up to date with the latest developments in PHP.
- You need to at least pass The PHP Developer Exam to become a Validated PHP Developer.
- You shall accept responsibility for your work and if applicable the work of your subordinates.
- You will notify us if you are convicted of a criminal offence or become bankrupt.
- You understand that if you break these codes of conduct, you may be permently excluded from being a Validated PHP Developer.
- You however have the right to appeal against a exclusion, by arguing your case with us.
- To view future updates of this code of conduct when informed of them, and adhere to them or resign from being a Validated PHP Developer by contacting us.
